The right tools never reached small charities.
The UK has roughly 169,000 registered charities. More than 60% of them have annual income under £100,000, and the median UK charity is run by part-time staff and unpaid trustees who do everything — fundraising, governance, programme delivery, communications.
The tools available to those charities have been a problem for years. Generic SaaS doesn't know UK funders. Generic AI invents statistics. Sector-specific tools are priced for £5m+ organisations. And free templates only get you to the first draft — they don't help with the next funder, or the annual return, or the impact report.
So small charities make do. They write applications from scratch every time, paste the same context into ChatGPT, and lose evenings to spreadsheets. Important work doesn't get done because the wrong work crowds it out.
CharityIQ exists to give that segment of the sector tools that fit them. Properly grounded AI. Audit trails by default. UK funders, UK regulators, UK pricing.
