The Fore gives unrestricted grants of up to £45,000, over one to three years, to small UK charities and social purpose organisations with an annual income under £500,000. The funding is for transformational organisational change — growth, structure, sustainability or efficiency — not single projects. It runs three competitive funding rounds a year.

What The Fore funds

The Fore funds small charities that make a big impact, giving unrestricted money to strengthen the whole organisation rather than pay for one project. It is cause-agnostic — it funds work in any sector — and its interest is in transformational change: a step that improves your growth, structure, sustainability or efficiency and lasts beyond the grant. Applicants set their own targets, with support from The Fore’s Strategic Applicant Consultants, and there are no long application or monitoring forms. The Fore particularly encourages organisations working with underserved communities, and those who have struggled to win trust and foundation funding before.

4. Submit a full application if offered a place, by the round’s deadline. Every applicant receives feedback.
