Prompt: plan segmented supporter communications
Not every supporter should get the same message. This prompt helps you plan simple, respectful segments — new donors, regulars, lapsed, volunteers — and what to say to each, kept realistic for a small team. You confirm your data protection position before acting, especially for lapsed contacts.
What to paste in
Describe your supporter groups and rough numbers, what you can realistically send, and your comms capacity. The prompt produces a lightweight plan with a goal, message, frequency and next step for each group.

What to check afterwards
Before messaging any group, confirm you have a lawful basis and appropriate consent and preferences — lapsed donors may have withdrawn consent. Cut anything your team cannot sustain, honour opt-outs, and tidy your records where segmentation depends on data you do not yet have.
Before sending marketing to any supporter group you need an appropriate lawful basis and, in many cases, consent and current contact preferences (Source: ICO guidance for charities, accessed 9 July 2026; verified 11 Jul 2026).
Worked example
The illustrative example keeps four simple segments, sets a realistic rhythm for each, and flags a consent check before any lapsed-donor contact.
CharityIQ can help plan and run supporter communications grounded in your real records and consent data.
